Safety bolt

The safety standards require that the protective shields can only be opened with a tool and that the fixing elements should not be completely detached when opened.

We have developed a system to comply with today’s standards and to ease the fixing of the mesh.

The safety bolt is made of AISI316 and has variations for either having a welded nut or threaded hole on the supporting structure or for in some cases you want to have a threded rod or welded bolt sticking out of the structure. For both cases there is a solution.

The 56 mm washer remains a bit loose on the bolt, so that even when fastening with a bolt gun, the washer won’t turn and cut the wire.

The fixing wire is also of AISI316 and can be fixed on the washer, through the mesh and has a male thread on one end and femal at the other end. So you don’t need special tools to install it.
